Administrative StructureThe Women's and Children's Hospital (WCH) is a publicly funded hospital, an agency of the South Australian Government Department of Health and is controlled by the Minister for Health. The WCH is managed by the Chief Executive of the Children, Youth and Women's Health Service (CYWHS) who reports to the Board of Directors of the CYWHS. The Board of Directors has eleven members appointed by the Minister for Health. In December 2004, the Chief Executive announced the Executive structure for the Children, Youth and Women's Health Service (CYWHS). The structure includes both strategic and clinical leadership positions, and has been designed to ensure that the WCH is able to successfully respond to the objectives of the Government's health reform agenda. The CYWHS launched its Strategic Plan for 2005 to 2010 on July 22, 2005.
