Health Information

The WCH is committed to health promotion: promoting health, preventing illness and providing health information for our consumers and the community.

As a health care consumer, you are faced with many decisions concerning doctors, prescriptions, hospitals, long term care, health insurance, medical privacy and much more. 

The Centre for Health Promotion has responsibility for the Hospital's Health Information Centre which has a large range of health information material and information about community services and support groups. There are many free brochures as well as resources for sale. The Centre is available to the community, as well as to WCH staff, patients and families.

We are currently working on a project so that much of our health information will be available online.
