WCH for Children

The WCH is South Australia's specialist children's hospital, providing a wide range of health services for children and young people.

The WCH is committed to making your visit as comfortable and relaxing as possible - whether you are a patient, family member or a visitor. 

This site has been designed to provide you with much of the information you will need to get around both the Hospital and the local area.

For people coming to the WCH from out of town our information for visitors to Adelaide may be of use before you visit the WCH.

We understand that family and friends are the most important people in children's lives and that they offer unique and valuable support for children in hospital.  Visitors are important and are welcome in our Hospital. Visiting hours vary according to individual needs . Please contact the ward before coming to visit.

The WCH is a smoke free hospital.  Please do not smoke in or near our buildings.
