The WCH has two public car parks:

• The Medical Centre Cark Park located in Kermode Street (adjacent to the Pedestrian crossing)
• The Rogerson Car Park (entry from Brougham Place via the Emergency Department roadway).

1 - 2 hours.................................. $6.00

2 - 3 hours.................................. $8.00

Over 5 hours............................... $12.00

The car park operates as a fully-automated system, requiring parkers to pay for their parking via a “pay station” upon returning to the car park to collect their vehicle. The “pay station” is located on the ground floor of the car park, just before the lifts. When their ticket has been validated, they have 15 minutes in which to exit the car park. The “pay station” does not accept 5 or 50 cent pieces nor will it accept $100.00 notes.

Hours of Operation:           6.00 am to 10.30 pm.............. Monday to Friday

                                         6.00 am to  9.00 pm............... Saturday & Sunday

Disabled car parking spaces are available.

Weekly Concession Ticket

Weekly tickets can be purchased at the Transport Services Department Office in the multi storey car park situated in Kermode Street.  The office is on the ground floor between the entrance and exit gates.  Tickets can only be purchased during office hours (open weekdays between 8.30am to 4.30pm excluding public holidays).   The cost of a weekly concession ticket is $32.00.  The ticket is valid for 7 days including the date of issue.  You can exit and enter as often as you wish between 6am and 10.30pm Monday-Friday and 6am-9pm Saturday and Sunday, you may leave your car in the car park overnight.
Weekly tickets cannot be backdated.

Rogerson Car Park

Brougham Place, North Adelaide

(Underneath Emergency Courtyard)

Fee Structure:                              $12.00 per entry  (Pay before you enter and Automatic exit 24 hours)

Height Clearance:                        2.1 metres

Hours of Operation:                     6.30 am to 11.00 pm.... Every day

Maximum continuous parking 2 days - Car Park is under CCTV surveillance

Parking fines apply in this area

Street Parking

• There are on street parking spaces in the vicinity of the Hospital. These are inspected regularly by the Adelaide City Council. To avoid a fine, try to allow sufficient time for your appointment.

Emergency Parking

• There is a 15 minute drop off area in the Emergency Courtyard.  This area must only be accessed for dropping off patients who require treatment at the Emergency Department.  Patient collection is not permitted in this area.  Parking fines apply in this area.

Picking Up Patients

• There is a 15 minute set down and pick up zone located at the front of the Queen Victoria Entrance, located between Sir Edwin Smith Avenue and Brougham Place.  Delays may occur when patients are being admitted or discharged so please ensure that your vehicle is only brought to the zone when the discharge process has been complete.  The set down and pick up spaces are a very scarce resource and the Hospital is conscious that this resource must be able to be accessed in a fair and equitable manner by those members of the community who are in the most need.  Parking fines apply in this area.

Disabled Car Parking Spaces

• There are 10 disabled car parking spaces located inside the Medical Centre Car Park and one disabled car parking space inside the Rogerson Car Park.
• The Adelaide City Council has provided 2 disabled car parking spaces in Kermode Street near the entrance to the Hospital and 6 spaces located in Brougham Place.
