Traffic restrictions during AFL matches at Adelaide Oval

The public are advised to be aware of temporary road closures and potential traffic congestion in North Adelaide around the Women’s and Children’s Hospital during PDF iconAFL matches (PDF - 107kb) this year.

Port Adelaide and Adelaide Crows AFL matches will be played at the Adelaide Oval throughout the 2015 season, commencing 5 April, and road closures will be in place during these matches to manage traffic flow around the venue.

You should be prepared for potential delays, and in an emergency call 000.

Please obey all traffic signs in place before and after the AFL matches, and talk to a Traffic Marshall in an emergency if you need an alternate route to get to the hospital.

Families and patients presenting to the hospital during these times, should drive to the Rogerson Car Park (off Brougham Place), as there may be possible parking shortages and traffic congestion at the Kermode Street Car Park.

It is also anticipated that there will also be other major events at Adelaide Oval during 2015 and the public should expect increased traffic flow and delays during such events.
