Research Infrastructure Block Grants (RIBG)

The Research Infrastructure Block Grant (RIBG) allocation

RIBG funding is available to researchers at the Women's and Children's Health Network (WCHN) for the support of research that is advancing the strategic goals of WCHN.

RIBG funding is proportionately available to respective areas and the researchers that have attracted NH&MRC funding in previous years.

Researchers will be invited to apply for available RIBG funding and must address the minimum and assessment/ranking criteria listed.  Applications for part-funding of initiatives will be accepted.

Applications must be submitted to the relevant Head of Department for approval.

Department Heads will forward successful applications with a Declaration to the Director, Research Secretariat,  2nd Floor Samuel Way Building by the stated closing date.

Applications to be endorsed by a panel comprising WCHN representatives. The outcomes will be advised in September/October each year. 

Funds must be fully expended by 31 December.
