Research Infrastructure Block Grants (RIBG)
The Research Infrastructure Block Grant (RIBG) process for 2008 has been revised. A total of $301,547.52 is available to researchers (including those SA Pathology employees based at WCH) for the support of research that is advancing the strategic goals of the Women's and Children's Hospital, as part of the Children, Youth and Women’s Health Service (CYWHS). An Information Sheet has been developed for Department Heads that outlines RIBG funding through research work in the past two years. Applications for funding must be made on the 2008 application form and must address the minimum and assessment/ranking criteria listed. Applications for part-funding of initiatives will be accepted as long as the funds are spent by 31 December 2008. Applications must be submitted to the relevant Head of Department by .4.30pm on 29 August 2008 Department Heads will forward successful applications with a Declaration to the Executive panel, via the Director Research Administration, Research Secretariat 2nd Floor Samuel Way Building. for endorsement by 4.30pm on 12 September 2008 Applications to be endorsed by a panel comprising Executive Director Clinical Governance, Education and Research; Executive Director Corporate Services; Director Supply;, Director Research Administration; and Manager Health Accounting and the results advised by Executive Director, Corporate Services by 30 September 2008.
