Intellectual property

The WCH, through its researchers, generates substantial intellectual property which is capable of being commercialised. The Hospital is keen to find commercial partners capable of moving technology from the laboratory to the market. To this end, it is responsive to approaches from, and actively seeks, potential commercial partners.

The management and commercialisation of the WCH's intellectual property is undertaken by the Intellectual Property Office in collaboration with the WCH's researchers. The Intellectual Property Office is the first point of contact for a commercial partner interested in intellectual property generated at the WCH.
