The CYWHS, through its researchers, generates substantial intellectual property which is capable of being commercialised. The Health Service is keen to find commercial partners capable of moving technology from the laboratory to the market. To this end, it is responsive to approaches from, and actively seeks, potential commercial partners.
The management and commercialisation of the CYWHS's
intellectual property is undertaken by Shaun Berg of Berg Lawyers in collaboration
with the CYWHS's researchers. Shaun Berg is the first point of contact for a commercial partner interested
in intellectual property generated at the CYWHS.
