Division of Laboratory Medicine

The Division of Laboratory Medicine provides diagnostic laboratory testing and consultative services in the areas of obstetrics, gynaecology, neonatology, paediatrics and adolescents both within the WCH and for other service providers. All services are National Association of Testing Authorities / RCPA registered and fully accredited.

The Division has world standard teaching and research programs supported by research grants from the Australian Government. An important feature of our research policy is the high degree of integration of research and service activities, which we believe focuses research goals and fosters better service and teaching standards.
