Mary Street is a prevention program, which promotes safety in families and communities by helping young people to stop sexual abuse and sexual harassment of others. Most young people seen at Mary Street have their offences investigated by police or other authorities and may have faced police charges with attendance at Family Conference or Youth Court. We do not offer an alternative to legal intervention but work cooperatively with police, courts, and welfare agencies to achieve an outcome:
