How to Access Our ServiceBoylan Ward provides inpatient services for children and adolescents from metropolitan Adelaide and from rural and remote parts of South Australia. Children and adolescents between 3 and 17 years who have complex problems requiring further assessment to determine diagnosis and treatment needs may be admitted. Most services for children 12 years and under will comprise planned admissions for assessment purposes. The timing of these admissions may need to be altered if at any time the mix of current inpatients is considered to be inappropriate for the admission of younger children.
