Helen Mayo House - Day Patient Service

The Helen Mayo Day Patient Service aims to offer new knowledge and styles ofhandling problems so that women may either have shorter admissions to hospitalor avoid hospitalisation altogether.

Day services operate from 10am to 2.30pm on Wednesdays. Two day groups helpaddress women's needs both as individuals and as parents, and are staffed byoccupational therapist, a clinical psychologist and a community nurse . Womenattend this program without their children so will need to arrange childcare(staff are very happy to discuss this.)
