Division of Medical ImagingThe Division of Medical Imaging provides a range of imaging services for women and children. The staff of the division are drawn from a wide variety of professional groups including nurses, radiologists, radiographers, sonographers, nuclear medicine physicians, nuclear medicine technologists, physicists and administrative staff. Professional links are held with the Royal Australian New Zealand College of Radiologists, Australian Institute of Radiography and the Australian New Zealand Society of Nuclear Medicine. Teaching is conducted in co-operation with the University of Adelaide and the University of South Australia. All medical imaging services operate between 8:30am and 5:00pm Monday to Friday. General X-ray services are offered from 7:30am to midnight Monday to Friday and 8:00am to midnight Saturday, Sunday and public holidays. Outside these hours all services are offered on an emergency basis as determined by the needs of the individual patient. Many medical imaging studies require an appointment to be made and particular preparation for the study. Contact Details
