Emergency After Hours Dental CareDental emergencies include (but are not limited to) pain, spreading dental infection and dental trauma. Prompt dental advice and treatment can reduce discomfort, improve outcomes and is reassuring for children and parents. WCH dental staff are available after hours to provide advice to medical staff treating children with dental emergencies and are available to provide treatment for eligible patients where necessary. The following options are also available for urgent dental treatment: Government funded after hours dental servicesThe South Australian Dental Service (SADS) via the child's school dental service provides after hours care until 10pm for children under 18 years provided they are enrolled with SADS.
