How to make an appointment

 

PREGNANT WOMEN WISHING TO MAKE AN ANTENATAL APPOINTMENT MUST CALL THE PREGNANCY SA INFORMATION LINE (PSAIL) ON 1300 368 820

 

Your call will be transferred to the hospital closest to where you live, where your first visit will take place.  Further discussion about ongoing care will occur at the first visit.

Women directed to The Queen Elizabeth Hospital will attend the Women's and Children's Hospital at the time of the birth.  Women directed to Modbury Hospital may choose to birth at the Women's and Children's Hospital or Lyell McEwin Hospital.

A Women's and Children's Hospital Registration Form will need to be completed prior to your first visit. This will be sent to you with a letter confirming your appointment date and time.

The first visit is anticipated to take 1 1/2 hours

Creche facilities at the Women's and Children's Hospital are available for child-minding. For bookings please phone 8161 6394
