Diploma in Child Health (SA)

The Diploma in Child Health (DCH) is a one year postgraduate course. The objectives are to provide a goal-directed learning program in a wide range of aspects of child health for medical graduates whose practice may involve children's health. With the support of the WCHN Medical Education Committee, we are trialling a partnership with the Sydney Children's Hospital Network to deliver the DCH in 2014. Participants in the DCH - South Australia (DCH-SA) will complete the online course (and associated assessment requirements) delivered through Sydney University and participate in local face to face activities including Paediatric Life Support training, a Paediatric Update day, tutorials and exam preparation. The DCH-SA is excellent preparation for anyone wishing to pursue a career in paediatrics, and for staff in general practice who want to update their knowledge about working with children.

To enrol in the DCH - South Australia, go to http://magga.org/enrolment/ and select DCH/IPPC 2014 as the course to enrol in.

If you have any questions about the DCH-SA, please contact Linda Gagliardi on (08) 8161 7274 or email: linda.gagliardi@sa.gov.au.
