Immunisation ClinicThe Immunisation Clinic at the Women's and Children's Hospital is part of the Adelaide Immunisation Centre of Excellence (AICE). It provides immunisation services to women and children who are current inpatients and outpatients at the hospital, offering the best possible protection against vaccine preventable diseases such as whooping cough, measles and the flu. The clinic is staffed by authorised immunisation nurses who offer a comprehensive immunisation program, including additional immunisation needs for medically at risk patients and their families. The general public, visitors to the hospital and patients of other hospitals cannot access these services. Services availableThe Immunisation Clinic offers the following:
Attending the clinicA booked appointment or drop-in service is available. Appointments can be made by calling (08) 8161 6316. Please bring your Medicare card, your child's Child Health Record (Blue Book), and/or your SA Pregnancy Record (Orange Book). Please note: A written hospital referral will be required from your specialist doctor at the hospital if your child is medically at risk and has additional immunisation requirements.
