CYWHS library

The library supports the hospital's role in enhancing and promoting the health of women, children and young people by specialising in care, research, education and health promotion through the provision of an active and professional library service.

The library functions as an integral part of the total hospital service, providing an active and professional service in support of patient care, education and research needs. The department provides services for all hospital staff and students on placement.

Access

The library provides a service for staff and students on placement. Members of the public should contact the library for further information.

Collections

The library specialises in the fields of paediatrics, child development, nursing and midwifery, women's health, child psychology, breast feeding, contraception, foetal diseases, gynaecology and obstetrics.

Staff can access online resources via the SALUS portal.
