DADS Group - DADS ARE DOING STUFFThis was developed by a number of fathers who, once they had completed the fatherhood group at Salisbury North, decided that they wanted further groups for fathers. They organized to run the group from Kid's 'n' You Family Services. The group's focus is to promote the role of fathers in a positive way. The group organises activities that they and other fathers can do with their children. One example was a recent visit to Penfield Railway where the fathers took their children for the day. The group meets fortnightly to share ideas, support each other, discuss and plan future activities. If you are interested please contact (08) 8287 4855 or (08) 8243 5544. The Fatherhood Project aims to support men in their role as a parent. Part of the Children and Families Integration Service , the program is managed by the Parenting Network and works closely with WCH antenatal staff and midwives to provide support for men who are about to become dads
