A-Z Services

ENT Nurse Practitioner

The ENT Nurse Practitioner works in close consultation with surgeons, medical practitioners, and other health professionals to enhance the care provided to children and their families.

Ear, Nose and Throat

The Ear, Nose and Throat (ENT) Department provides an inpatient and outpatient service for patients from infancy through to adolescence with disorders of the ears, nose and throat.

Early Pregnancy Unit

The Early Pregnancy Unit (EPU) is a dedicated service for women between 6 and 14 weeks pregnant who are experiencing some bleeding and have minimal pain.

Emergency Information for Women

If you are experiencing problems during pregnancy, labour or shortly after childbirth, or other gynaecological problems, the Women's Assessment Service is open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. No appointment is necessary.

The Endocrinology and Diabetes Centre provides services involving management of growth, thyroid, pituitary, adrenal, pubertal and bone disorders.

Engineering and Building Services

The Engineering and Building Services Department is responsible for ensuring that all WCHN buildings and their related services are maintained and repaired as required, to facilitate the safe delivery of clinical services.

Executive Team

The Hospital is led and managed by the Chief Executive Officer of the Women's and Children's Health Network, Lindsey Gough, who reports to the WCHN Governing Board. An experienced Executive Leadership team supports the ongoing operations of the Network.

Eye Surgery (Ophthalmology)

The Department of Ophthalmology specialises in the detection and correction of visual problems in children from birth to 18 years.
