A new place of connection and support has launched for women experiencing family, domestic and sexual violence in the southern metropolitan area.

It’s about building a community where Southern women find strength, support, and the resources needed for a brighter, safer future.

The Yellow Gate is a one-stop, drop-in service where women can seek much-needed support from services. The Yellow Gate operates from Noarlunga Centre and offers women in the community access to counselling supports, therapeutic group programs, information and referrals and access to legal services.

In addition to prevention and recovery supports, the Yellow Gate Hub is co-located with Yarrow Place and Cedar Health Services, services within the Women’s and Children’s Health Network, which provide Inclusive domestic and family violence healthcare.

This co-location offers a comprehensive approach to supporting women in need, providing a safe and welcoming environment where they can access a range of essential services. By combining the resources and expertise of The Yellow Gate, Yarrow Place, and Cedar Health Services, women are empowered to seek the help they require.

The name signifies positivity, hope and a transition towards a new phase of life.

The hub will be run by Community Justice Services SA and is located within the Noarlunga Centre.
