COVID-19 and Pregnancy
Having your baby at the WCH
Rest assured that you and your baby will continue to receive the best of care throughout the COVID-19 pandemic and beyond.
We have plans in place to deal with any level of COVID-19 in the community, and we follow strict infection control procedures across all our sites.
If you contract COVID-19 during your pregnancy, your care team will be able to assist you with the best way to look after you and your baby.
Most pregnant people will be able to continue to receive care at the Women's and Children's Hospital, however some may need extra support from our colleagues at the Flinders Medical Centre (FMC).
