Acknowledgement
The Women's and Children's Hospital is located on the traditional lands for the Kaurna people, and we respect their spiritual relationship with their Country. We also acknowledge that the Kaurna people are the custodians of the Adelaide region, and that their cultural and heritage beliefs are still as important to the living Kaurna people today.

Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people should be aware that this website may contain images, voices and names of people who have passed away.

Interpreters and Cultural Support

If English is not your first language, you may need help to understand what is happening to you or your child.

The Hospital uses an interpreting service that can provide face-to-face interpreting for many languages. If you require this service, please ask a hospital staff member.

If you are hearing impaired, you may require the assistance of a deaf signing service. If you require this service, please ask a hospital staff member.

The hospital switchboard has a teletypewriter (TTY) that patients can use.
