The WCH is South Australia's specialist maternity hospital and provides state of the art obstetric care. Pregnancy is a very special and personal time. The WCH provides a number of choices relating to your pregnancy and childbirth.
If you are experiencing problems during pregnancy, labour, soon after childbirth, or other gynaecological problems, visit the Women's Assessment Service 24 hours a day, 7 days a week or virtually from 8am to 4pm, 7 days a week.
The Virtual Women’s Assessment Service provides virtual care and referral to South Australian women in the comfort of your own home or community.
The Women's Reception and Admissions Desk is on the ground floor of Zone F and may be accessed either through the main entrances at Brougham Place or via Kermode Street. Women's Reception is open Monday to Friday 8am – 2.30pm.
The Women's Outpatient Department offers a range of clinical services including Antenatal Clinics, Gynaecology Clinic and a Colposcopy Clinic.
The Women's and Babies' Division of the Women's and Children's Hospital is a major provider of obstetric, midwifery, neonatal and gynaecological services to South Australia, the Northern Territory and far western New South Wales and Victoria.
