Home Equipment Centre – Women
Home Equipment Centre supplies equipment to patients of the WCH so they may be cared for at home, rather than in hospital. Items supplied include consumables such as syringes, feeding lines and dressings, and hire equipment such as breast pumps.
The Home Equipment Centre (HEC) supplies consumables and equipment to hospital patients that have acute or chronic conditions.
How to access this service
Equipment and Consumables from the Home Equipment Centre are only available to patients of this hospital.
A HEC referral form must be completed by a Women’s and Children’s Hospital (WCH) Clinician.
