ELECT History

CAMHS is committed to enabling consumers and carers to be involved in decisions relating to their treatment and to provide input into service planning and improvement. There are a number of opportunities for carers and consumers including our Energetic Lived Experience Consultancy Team (ELECT) advisory group. ELECT is made up of parents and carers. The committee was formed in early 2013.

Person and Family Centred Care

ELECT consumers and caregivers value the importance of being Person and Family Centred and encourage current users of CAMHS services to talk with their clinician about the WCHN WCH page link iconPerson and Family Centred Care Charter and to provide feedback on how well your service/s were delivered. You can go to our Link iconE-Letter Consumer Feedback page and complete the online form. Your feedback on your CAMHS experience is reviewed every eight weeks, by the Women's and Children's Health Network Safety and Quality Committee. This committee has Consumer Representation.  Any themes emerging from the feedback relevant to CAMHS will be discussed by members of ELECT.
