Paediatric Anaesthesia Senior Registrar Program

Our Senior Registrar Program consists of 6 month and 12 month positions which are open to Australian and international anaesthesia trainees who wish to either consolidate their paediatric anaesthesia skills or become specialist paediatric anaesthetists.

Our Senior Registrar Program consists of 6 month and 12 month positions which are open to Australian and international anaesthesia trainees who wish to either consolidate their paediatric anaesthesia skills or become specialist paediatric anaesthetists.

Senior Registrars will have the opportunity to undertake clinical work in all paediatric surgery subspecialties offered at the Women’s and Children’s Hospital during their fellowship. They are allocated weekly non-clinical time in which they are expected to pursue research within the department. Opportunities for presenting at national and international meetings are encouraged and supported such as the Society of Paediatric Anaesthesia in New Zealand and Australia annual conference.

Senior Registrar positions are filled 6–18 months prior to the commencement date and are advertised on the SA Health Medical Recruitment website.
